Signia Nx, a Germany-based hearing aids platform, is to be introduced to China on Friday, aiming to make users feel more comfortable about the sound of their own voice.
The company said half of hearing aids users do not like the sound of their own voice, because every such patient experiences a change in that sound.
The product can address many of these problems, it said.
Its prices will range from 5,000 yuan (3.88) to 50,000 yuan, and its products will only be sold in physical stores, noted the company.
Signia Nx also launched more products including a Bluetooth connectivity hearing aid, which can be controlled by a smartphone.
Yu Meile, marketing manager from Sivantos China, producer of Signia Nx, said the company hopes to win 50 percent of the market in China.
The World Health Organization said in February that more than 5 percent of the world's population - 360 million people - experience disabling hearing losses, including 328 million adults and 32 million children.
Approximately one-third of people over 65 years of age are affected by disabling hearing loss. The prevalence in this age group is the greatest in South Asia, the Asia-Pacific and sub-Saharan Africa, while 1.1 billion young people aged between 12-35 years are at risk of hearing loss, the agency said.
