Tax exemptions on reinvested profits

The Ministry of Finance said on Thursday it will temporarily exempt foreign firms from paying income tax on profits they reinvest in China, in a bid to stop foreign firms moving their operations out of the country.

The move will help growth of foreign investment, improve the quality of such investment and encourage overseas investors to expand in China, according to the finance ministry website.
