Most of the time, carving stone is boring, rhythmic sounds echoing back and forth. From carving worker's eyes, carving stone is a process of accumulating virtue, tinkling sound with Mantras of the Sanskrit, which sounds not so monotonous. Yu Jia has a 3-year-old daughter who always runs under the pagoda, round face with naive, so-called Xiao Mimi by Yu Jia who born nature optimistic. It is similar with his character. His wife is also a carving worker. She is uncommunicative, just smiling when talking with others. As asking one question, she just answers one.
In carving worker's opinion, it is not a pure work to carve stones for Kangyur since they became a carving worker of Chakpori. During more than 10 years, with Tripitaka Buddhist pagoda improving, lection and slate has already permeated with their faith and desire, which makes them pride of today.
Most of the time, the life on Chakpori and Tripitaka Buddhist pagoda is boring with rhythmic sounds echoing back and forth. Carving worker said, “Lhasa is very boisterous today, people who wear gold and silver frequently light up thousands of lights to make a big wish. However, carving a stone slab and adding alms giving have more merits and virtues than thousands of lights. You know your kind is enough.” So, I thinks these traditional carving worker is a kind of gift like each Marnyi Stone and Template of Scripture from the trip of Tibet. In this world, there are common people leading a simple life with common craft, but making extraordinary faith.
