Recently, a girl became a nun ofQuanzhen Taoism in Luzhouafter graduated from university. Some netizens do not agree with her decision, and believing that her prior study is in vain and it is a kind of resource waste; while other netizens support her and they think that individual pursue should be encouraged. Bone in 1990s, the girl is only 25 years old and now she is the youngest nun in the local Taoist temple. She explained that the reason for such a decision is to carry forward traditional Chinese culture.
Zhong Siyuan has a strong affinity for traditional culture since herchildhood, during her collegelife, she has studied Chinese medicine and martial arts, while the other students have no interests in those subjects. In order to pursue her own ideals and carry forward the traditional culture, after careful consideration, Zhong Siyuandecided to become a Taoist nun when she graduated in 2013. She is the only child of her parents, but they still support her decision. In Longmen sect of Quanzhen Taoism in Luzhou City, Zhong Siyuan has thus become the only nun who is born in 1990s.
