Emre was highly satisfied with the driving experience. He's not well versed in the science of momentum or drive but the X80 left a lasting feeling. The X80 can produce a powerful but responsive start making it suitable for city driving. As Amir simply put it “starts strong, runs quietly, drives reliably”
Emre hails from Ankara, Turkey and says that his native roads and those of Beijing have many similarities. Both cities host winding alleys as well as broad avenues. A further similarity is that both Beijing and Ankara roads are complex, especially along more populated, bustling stretches. The X80 makes use of its height, field of view, 360o cameras and other integrated systems to stop Emre from losing his head. He stated that this was a better driving experience than any he had had in Turkey, particularly within its price range. He made special note to emphasise his view that were it sold it Turkey, it would sell very well.
Conslusion: it spreads beyond Beijing, many cities in China have ever increasing populations of expats who have moved here for work or a new life. China has become a second home to many, they live and work alongside Chinese witness and even contributing to the country's change and development. For Emre Beijing is already his home away from home, his loved ones and many memories are all found in this city that he loves. His love and understanding of Chinese culture has also piqued his interest in the Chinese auto community. He told us “I believe the Chinese automobile industry has really advanced is the past few years. I see now that Besturn is only one of many representatives of the Chinese car industry. I hope that in the future the world will see more Chinese national pride on the road!”
