Belarus intends to grant 30-day visa-free entry to Chinese citizens

Belarus intends to grant a 30-day visa-free entry to Chinese citizens, Belarusian Deputy Sports and Tourism Minister Mikhail Portnoi told local media on Monday.

"We are considering the introduction of a 30-day visa-free entry for Chinese citizens," Portnoi said.

"We are working on it. We hope this matter will be decided by the end of the year," he added.

At the news briefing, Portnoi also said that Belarus and China will make joint efforts to promote tourism in 2018.

"If everything goes well, we expect Belarus and China will launch the Year of Tourism in 2018," he said.
