Dubbed an "emerging first tier city" by Yicai media group in a report last month, Zhengzhou has rapidly developed over the past ten years. The city is widely known abroad for the Foxconn factory there, which makes iPhones and other Apple products. However, Zhengzhou has much more to offer, aiming much higher with an emerging commercial market. Further, it is a central hub for high-speed railway routes, with an Airport Economy Zone that opened in 2013, meant to speed development and smoothly connect railways, roads, and aviation.
