Former NBA player Jamaal Franklin has joined in Sichuan Jinqiang club of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), said the club on Friday.
"Jamaal Franklin will compete in the next season with Sichuan, and his comprehensive abilities and experience will help the team a lot," the club said in a statement.
Franklin was drafted No. 41 overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2013, but his NBA career didn't go well. After he was fired by the Grizzlies, he came to CBA and joined in Zhejiang club.
In 2015, he was signed by CBA club Shanxi and became the key player, for an average of 34.3 points, 10.5 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game during the last two seasons.
