Former NBA player Yi Jianlian led the Chinese Basketball Association League (CBA) side Guangdong to win their third consecutive victory by smashing Jilin 102-86 on Tuesday.
Hu Mingxuan unleashed his three-pointer to start Guangdong's attack of the 18th round game, which was soon interrupted by a 9-0 run from the home team. Guangdong then called a timeout and came back with their 10-0 spree, before both sides ran neck and neck for the rest of the first quarter.
Guandong extended their lead in the second quarter with a string of three-pointers, running towards the victory with ease as Jilin failed to narrow the gap since then.
Yi grabbed 20 points plus 17 rebounds and Zhou Peng scored 24 points for Guangdong, while Jilin's Carl Landry snatched a game-high 33 points, and Von Wafer added 23 points.
When Marshon Brooks made 36 points and Miroslav Radulica provided 24 points, Jiangsu also took their third straight victory, a 113-102 win over Shanxi, to remain atop of the CBA table. Luis Scola and Willie Warren scored 25 points each for Shanxi.
