Beijing Auto Museum Attend the 2nd Sino-French Cultural Forum

 From September 24th to 27th, 2017, the delegation of Bejing Auto Museum attended the 2nd Sino-French cultural forum in Lyon, France, which was hosted by Western Returned Scholars Association(WRSA)and Overseas-educated Scholars Association of China(OSAC).The guests from the fields of Chinese and French cultures, art, museums, education, enterprises and other fields attended the Forum, including thevice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, WRSA - OSAC president Chen Zhu, former French Prime Minister Jean Pierre Raffarin, China ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to France Zhai Juan, the former China ambassador to France Zhao Jianjun, the mayor of LyonGeorges Kepenekian and other guests. The Forum themed on “The Belt & Road”cultural exchange and sharing, aims to build a non-goverment and non-profit platform to prompt cultural exchange between China and France, so as to prompt futher communicaton and understanding of two peoples in cultural field.

Shan Jixiang, the director of The Palace Museum, and Yang Rui, the director of Beijing Auto Museum, as representatives of Chinese museums, had dialogued and communicated with French museums who were Serge Lasvignes, the Chairman of Centre National d'art et de Culture Georges Pompidou,Olivier Cogne, the director of Musée Dauphinois, Hélène Lafont-Couturier,the director of The Musée des Confluences, Bertrand de Montferrand , the Chairman of Les Fonds régionaux d'art contemporain. The guests from Sino-French museums had discussed widely and profoundly around the theme of “The regional attraction role for museums”, through experience sharing and collision of ideas to prompt concept innovation and integrative development of museums.

The guests from Sino-French museum field had a dialogue on the subforum“the regional attraction role for museums” 

Director Yang Rui of Beijing Auto Museum gave a speak about “Improving Regional Attraction of Museums with Automobiles”, and introduced the creation and friendship between China and France with cars, the dialouge and cooperation of cities and communications of people from the point of multi cultures integration of museums. At the same time, she described how the Beijing Auto Museum accommodate visitors as if they were family with standardization of services. By telling Chinese stories with automobile as catalyst, Director Yang Rui also shared museum theory and management method with French museum, and spreaded Chinese voice to the world.
