A trailer for the newest iteration of the science fiction monster film, "Godzilla," made its Asia debut on Tuesday morning.
The trailer showcased Godzilla's on-screen immensity and, for what can be argued as the first time on film, captured the sheer devastation the creature would wrought on humankind if it was real.
The film features the Japanese film monster of the same name. English actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Japanese actor Ken Watanabe, American actress Elizabeth Olsen, French actress Juliette Binoche and American actor Bryan Cranston all appear in the film.
The film is a co-production between Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures.
"Godzilla" smashes into American cinemas on May 16th and will hopefully make its way across the Pacific to China.
