Venezuelan oil company stops oil sales to Exxon Mobil

Venezuela's state oil company Petroleos de Venezuela SA has stopped oil sales to U.S.-based Exxon Mobil Corp., the Venezuelan company announced Tuesday.

Petroleos said it has also suspended commercial relations with Exxon Mobil, days after President Hugo Chavez said he was ready to halt oil sales to the United States if an "economic war" is declared against his country.
