[File photo: Xinhua]The 32nd session of the World Heritage Committee is taking place in Quebec, Canada, from July 2 to July 10. During the session, the committee will consider request for the inscription of new sites, including two Chinese properties Fujian Tulou (cultural property) and Mount Sanqingshan National Park (natural property), on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
Fujian Tulou, only found in some mountainous areas in southern China Fujian province, is famous for its unique and mysterious style. While Mount Sanqingshan National Park, a key national scenic spot and a national geopark, is located in east China's Jiangxi Province.
There are already 23 Chinese properties, including the Great Wall, Mogao Caves and Potala Palace, which the World Heritage Committee has inscribed on the World Heritage List (15 cultural, 3 natural and 5 mixed properties).
