The Deadly Vibes
The three piece Canadian garage-rock and roll band "Deadly Vibes" will be taking the stage of Zhi Jiang Dream Factory (the new Yu Yin Tang venue) to play some "stripped down, beer drinking, rock & roll!". Although this band is just one year old they've played almost every city in Taiwan, toured Korea, and welcomed in the New Year at Taipei's 'The Wall' live house. Canadian, self-taught photographer Greg Girard has lived in Shanghai since 1998 and has produced a book with a collection of photographs entitled "Phantom Shanghai". His work looks at the changes of houses, shops and neighbourhoods throughout the city over the last five years, he sees Shanghai as a "city in the process of dismantling its history to accommodate China's new cosmopolitan vision of itself."
