Toastmaster Demonstration Meeting
Toastmasters is an international non-profit organization, which focuses on the development of communication and leadership skills. Members of clubs all over the world can testify to how much their communication skills have increased by participating in this proven international program for training competent public speakers and outstanding leaders. There are 49 Toastmaster clubs in China already. Dalian is organizing its first club and will soon be a part of this world-wide organization. Sports For Kids
I am thinking about a baseballl team next spring that could play in the diamond in Jinzhou, where the Japanese community already has a kids team. Apparently there is a Chinese kids team that plays at a school in the city. As well, there is talk of soccer (football) in Kaifaqu for kids in the fall. Inline hockey is another distinct possibility. The planning is all in the preliminary stage. We need to get an idea of how many kids are out there.
