Delegates to the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) step towards the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China, on Oct. 15, 2007. The congress, which opens here at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, will last for seven days till October 21. (Xinhua/Ma Zhancheng)
