The exhibition, launched Monday by the Wenxin media group, aims to depict what the hundreds of thousands of soldiers, medics and volunteers are going through as they race against time to save lives.
The photographs on display were taken by reporters from local media outlets such as Oriental Morning Post, Shanghai Daily and Xinmin Evening News. New additions will be made to exhibition every day.
Its organizer hopes to inspire visitors to help victims of the May 12 earthquake which has killed over 40,000 people and left millions homeless.
