    BEIJING, May 6 -- Teen star Miley Cyrus will be a billionaire by the end of the year, reports say.

    The 15-year-old is officially the wealthiest child in the world following her success in Disney Channel series Hannah Montana.

    According to People, the franchise will be worth 500 million ponds (987 millon U.S. dollars ) by 2009, while Cyrus earned 9 million ponds (17.8 million U.S. dollars) last year alone.

    A Disney spokesperson said: "Kids are earning more and more and can command huge fees in Hollywood. But no one could have predicted how popular Miley would be. She's a true star."

    Mum Tish Cyrus added: "A lot goes into her investment fund, which she can't touch until she's 18."

    The singer/actress completed a 69-date tour last year, with her 3-D film Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour taking around ￡14 million in its opening weekend. She has also agreed a seven-figure deal to write her autobiography.

    Other young stars on the rich list include band the Jonas Brothers and actresses Dakota Fanning, 14, and Abigail Breslin, 12.

    BEIJING, April 28 (Xinhuanet) -- American teen idol Miley Cyrus said on Sunday that she was embarrassed for some racy photos which spread on the Internet and other photos including a semi-nude one to be published in the upcoming issue of "Vanity Fair," according to media reports.

    In these racy photos, Cyrus lies across her then-boyfriend's lap, (her producer's son), while another showed her revealing part of her green bra.

Wow! Miley Cyrus to write memoir at age of 15!

    BEIJING, April 23 -- Miley Cyrus, the 15-year-old teen idol better known as "Hannah Montana," plans to write a memoir about her journey to stardom, the Disney Book Group said on Tuesday.

    The book, to be published by Disney-Hyperion Books and scheduled to hit bookshelves next spring, will trace her life from her roots in the Southern United States to Hollywood celebrity and will feature photographs from her famous family.
