At the the National Indoor Stadium
"The National Indoor Stadium will be fantastic!" said International Handball Federation (IHF) representative Miguel Roca on a tour of the stadium.
At the invitation of the Beijing Olympic organizing committee (BOCOG), Roca, along with his IHF colleague, Alexander Kozhukhov, arrived in Beijing on Monday for a four-day visit to the Olympic city.

The National Indoor Stadium
Li Zhiwen, who is in charge of the Beijing Olympic handball competition, briefed the two representatives on Tuesday about the latest preparations for the handball competition, including the venues and hotels.
Following the meeting, the two toured the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium and the affiliated training field.
During a tour at the National Indoor Stadium that afternoon, Roca said he was not surprised about the remarkable construction progress, as he had expected it from his visit last year. It will still, however, take some time to complete the venue.

At the Catic Plaza Hotel
At the next destination, the nearby Catic Plaza Hotel, where the IHF technical officers will stay, the two representatives expressed their satisfaction. "It is one of the most beautiful hotels for the accommodation of IFH," said Kozhukhov.
The two representatives also discussed matters concerning the Olympic and pre-games competitions.
