Boao - 'forum town'

File photo taken in May 2003 shows the venue of the founding ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) near the estuary of the Wanquanhe River in Boao, south China's Hainan Province. Boao, once a nameless fishing port, has been known as a "forum town" after it became the seat of the annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia in 2002 and various kinds of business forums since then.
