Fake teen doctor arrested again on fraud charges

A Florida man who posed as a doctor and spent time in prison as a teenager has been arrested again on charges of fraud and theft, reports WPTV in West Palm Beach.

The report cited local police as saying that the 23-year-old, named Malachi Love-Robinson, asked clients to send money to his personal bank account rather than to the shipping broker he worked for. He is accused of taking over $10,000 that belonged to the company.

Two years ago, Love-Robinson, also known as "Dr. Love", pleaded guilty to several fraud charges, grand theft and practicing medicine without a license.

Patients told investigators that the man claimed he held several degrees, but they didn't realize he was only 18 years old at the time, according to the WPTV report.

Love-Robinson was accused of stealing $35,000 from an elderly patient in 2015, and was charged and arrested on grand theft charges in 2016.

The man insisted he didn't pose as a medical doctor, but was a naturopathic physician.
