The media outlet quotes two sources familiar with her plans that Melania’s intention is to "maintain 'Be Best,'" an initiative that began during her time in the White House. It focused on youth health and well-being, safety online, the prevention of social media bullying, and the impact of the opioid crisis on children.

The office will hire three of her former White House staff members, including Hayley D'Antuono, Mary "Casey" Finzer, and Marcia Kelly, according to CNN.

The move comes after her husband, former President Donald Trump, announced on Monday the official opening of the Office of the Former President in Palm Beach. It is tasked with overseeing the 45th president's official activities in his post-presidency life.

A statement read that it “will be responsible for managing President Trump's correspondence, public statements, appearances and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump administration through advocacy, organizing and public activism.”

It went on to note that the former president will always and forever be a champion for Americans.
