Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama have taken part in a newly released ad campaign that sees the former U.S. presidents and their wives urging Americans to get the coronavirus vaccines, reports CNN.

The report says the ad is aimed squarely at combating vaccine skepticism.

Former President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump, however, are not featured in the ad, the only living president and first lady to not participate.

The media outlet had previously said that the Trumps received the COVID vaccine in January at the White House.

Before the ads were published, Trump released a statement claiming credit for the vaccine, but he was not included in the ad promoting it to the American people, according to the report.

The ads are being released at a critical time in the fight against the virus and one year after the outbreak was first declared a pandemic.
