Cam:明星(ming2 xing1).
YJ:明(ming2) means bright,
Cam:明(ming2).
YJ:星(xing1) originally means a star in the sky.
Cam:星.(xing1)
YJ: Here a bright star stands for a famous actor or actress.明星(ming2 xing1)

YJ: Then a movie star would be…

YJ:片(pian1) means film

Cam: it’s 动画片(dong4 hua4 pian1)
YJ: Very good!

YJ: Good,大片(da4 pian1), which literally means big film. Here it’s an informal way of calling a large-budget movie with widespread popularity.
