UN chief sends Chinese Lunar New Year greetings

The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Wednesday sent(送 sòng) his Chinese Lunar New Year greetings(祝福 zhùfú), thanking(感谢 gǎnxiè) China and the Chinese people for their support(支持 zhīchí) to the UN.

The upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year, or the Year of the Rat, which falls on Jan.25 this year, is the most important festival(节日 jiérì) for the Chinese people.
