China's new high-speed maglev train rolled off the production line on Tuesday.

It is designed to have a top speed (速度 sùdù) of 600 kilometers per hour (小时 xiǎoshí), making it the fastest ground vehicle currently available globally.

Self-developed by China, the new maglev transportation system made its public debut in the coastal city of Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province.
