Giant pumpkins and watermelons become hit at exhibition in northeast China

The 20th Changchun International Agriculture and Food Fair Expo kicked off in Changchun, northeast China's Jilin Province, September 6,2021. The expo showcases four varieties (种 zhǒng) of giant pumpkins (南瓜 nánguā) and 17 varieties of giant watermelons (西瓜 xīguā), the largest of which is a pumpkin weighing around 600 kilograms. Meanwhile, the largest watermelon weighs over 95 kilograms. Needless to say, visitors have been impressed, and can't help but take lots of photos.
